My wife and I went here for dinner before we went to the theater downtown and we were not disappointed. This was our first visit to Cicchetti. Everything about this place is great. The have a very extensive wine list and drink menu to go along with their great food. Our server (Rudy) who was on loan from the restaurant next door to help out was amazing. My wife and I are currently not drinking alcohol and he went to the restaurant next door to get me a non-alcoholic beer because cicchetti didn't have any. The tapas here were all delicious but the star of the meal was definitely the dessert. It was a pistachio, strawberry, vanilla ice cream covered in a hardened chocolate and we paired it with some coffees. I can't wait to go back and try some of their vast selection of wines.

Incredible ambiance and amazing tapas bar influenced menu. The wine selection was second to none with multiple options to suit your pallet. The staff showed incredible hospitality and catered well to my girlfriend and I who were celebrating our anniversary. 5/5, would definitely recommend. Special shout out to Robin who was our server! Had an amazing experience at Cicchetti in Charlotte NC. The space was super cool and the service was fantastic- our server Robin was incredible. There are half-price wine bottles Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays- what an amazing deal. The food was also terrific. We had the antipasto plate, the ricotta bruschetta and the bresaola small plate. They make a really good dirty martini also. Cant wait to go back.

We dined at Cicchettis for Valentines Day and had a wonderful meal! The space is small, but has plenty of elbow room. You will want to make a reservation. Its connected to Aria. Parking is always a challenge - we parked in Founders Hall parking garage. This is a wine bar, so you should expect wine for drinks. They do have wine inspired cocktails. Quick shout out to Robin, our server. She was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and her recommendations were on point. Speaking of on point - the food was phenomenal! Small plates situation. We tried their version of a charcuterie board and it was amazing. The cheeses were all very tasty and the focaccia bread is to die for! We also tried the gnocchi and chicken parm. They were great as well, but for the lasagna. Might be the best I have ever tried. Overall, very solid!!! Highly recommend!

This place is wonderful! The food and service are top-notch. The wine selection is great and the prices are super reasonable. We visited on a Saturday night and I would venture to say they were understaffed. But this rockstar team (including our server, Lucky) made sure everyone's experience was as perfect. You would never know they were short-handed and everyone was exceptionally polite and professional.

First 5 that I think I have given!! Super cute location and delicious food! Robin was our server and she was lovely! She was attentive, welcoming, knowledgeable and just all around nice! Parking is a bit of a fuss but once you get there is has a unique vibe combining date night vibes and great after work with coworkers meeting vibe. Close to everything uptown and attached to Aria Restaurant, which is delicious also! Recommend making a reservation bc it is a smaller location. Great selection of wines. By bottle or glass! Hidden gem in Charlotte!

We held a rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Cicchetti and could not have had a better experience. You get the whole place which is awesome. Every person we dealt with from beginning to end was professional and eager to please. The wait staff at the event were excellent, very attentive, polite, and friendly. We received so many compliments on the food, the room, and the staff. I highly recommend Cicchetti. Thank you to Briana, Trevor, Robin, and all of the staff for a wonderful night!

Having been to Italy ourselves we have a love for homemade pasta and authentic Italian food. Italo did not disappoint. Truly some of the best pasta and calamari weve ever had. The 4 of us ordered the family portions and tried a little bit of it all. We got the Radiatore, Lumache, Risotto, and Homemade Gnocchi. The gelato was perfectly creamy (just like it was in Italy) and also homemade. Our waitress Lyric, was fantastic. The owner came to chat with us and told us how much work and time they take into making it great quality. They even make their own homemade stocks for the sauces. We unfortunately didnt get to try the homemade focaccia because they ran out, but we watched another table down theirs so it must have been good. There arent a lot of tables and its not crammed so it really feels like youre at a peaceful dinner in Italy. Because everything is so perfectly homemade I would place your food order pretty soon because it does take some time. We will definitely be back here!

Great experience and amazing food! Our server Billy was the absolute best. The food was delicious, perfectly seasoned and all the staff in the restaurant were super attentive. We started with the homemade focaccia and opted for the shrimp scampi with pasta/butter on the side as our entrees. Restaurant is a bit small but comfortable and the menu doesnt have a ton of items but feels carefully selected. I would highly recommend and will be going back to try more. Also if you park in the garage (entrance next to roosters) they validate!

Its rare for me to finish a meal already thinking about coming back, but this place did exactly that. Its truly a memorable dining experience that went beyond expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine. I will definitely be returning again soon!

My wife and I recently had a date night at Italo and left feeling a bit underwhelmed overall. The parking situation is somewhat challenging, but not terrible. We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival, which was a great start to the evening. Our server was friendly, professional, and attentive, though it seemed he was responsible for too many tables. As a result, service felt a little slower than we would have preferred. His menu recommendations were also fairly average and didnt add much value to our dining experience. To start, we ordered the focaccia and the scallop crudo. The focaccia had an excellent texturelight, airy, and well-executedbut lacked depth of flavor. The accompanying spread also failed to elevate the dish or provide much additional complexity. The scallop crudo was disappointingly bland and not something we would order again unless the preparation changes. We were most excited about the pasta courses and ordered the pesto clam linguini and the bucatini allamatriciana. Unfortunately, both fell short of expectations. The linguini was overwhelmingly salty to the point that my wife couldnt finish it. The bucatini was the better of the two dishes, largely due to the pasta itself, but the sauce lacked flavor and felt average at best. Presentation on both dishes could also use improvement. The cocktail and wine recommendations were similarly average and didnt leave much of an impression. Overall, there were some positivesthe prompt seating, pleasant service, and excellent texture on the focacciabut the food ultimately failed to deliver on the promise of the menu. Given the price point and reputation, we expected more flavor, balance, and execution throughout the meal

The service cant be any worse . Was super excited to try out this new spot and drove 40 min in rain and heading back home hungry ! The service was slow for a nearly empty restaurant. The salad , broccoli and potatoes were all blah and had zero flavor , my drink order never made it to the table after waiting over 30 min . The lady manager comes check in with the guests right next to us and didnt even say hi to us which was pretty rude . But thanks Eddie , the other manager who acknowledged the mishap and apologized sincerely and took care of us
