Cute restaurant with nice atmosphere. Still working out the kinks with a new establishment. Our waiter was pleasant but just a little slow. Our appetizers came out after the meal but the manager made it right. We got a complimentary birthday treat which was nice. New service aside the food is amazing. The chipotle steak was extremely tasty. Will go back once some issue are ironed out.

I have to brag on this food & the service we had from Sandy. His mother Doreens cornbread recipes are used to make the cast iron skillet cornbread with corn & jalapeo & the cornbread dessert which is no longer on the menu. He is from Brooklyn and I feel so fortunate that Charlotte has gained such an awesome human being. Our group loved getting to know him! For entrees, we had the crab cakes (99% crab meat!), salmon with asparagus (both not pictured), and the chicken enchiladas with street corn which were all fantastic dishes. Well definitely be returning next time we are in Ballantyne to see Sandy and eat some more yummy food!

This was our second visit to the restaurant. Impressed by the managers proactive attentiveness and eagerness to correct whatever oversights existed with our service. The corn bread that was served as appetizer was good, but could be enhanced with a honey butter sauce. Made me crave for the one served by 131 Main. The other appetizer (tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole) likewise needed some improvement. In flavor. The dishes we ordered were nothing to be complaining about. We were satisfied with our dishes, but we were most impressed with the managers eagerness to make sure we were all happy with our dishes. This personal attention elevated the whole experience!

The ambience is good. I went for dinner and the service was average, but the food was delicious. I went for lunch and the service was top notch, but the food was average. Juniper Grill has all of the elements required to become a staple in the area. The restaurant is new and it seems like the staff are trying to find their groove (dining room and kitchen). If they continuously deliver high quality service and food, then they will become a favorite in Ballantyne.

My first visit and it was excellent. Saturday night date night dinner. Great new restaurant in Ballantyne. Food and service was top notch. I'm already looking forward to going back. I would recommend reservations. The place fills up quickly on the weekend.
