Boom! You found one of my top 5 favorite spots in CLT. I rarely give out 5 stars to a place but they have consistently proven themselves on every visit I've had. I've been coming here since they opened and have literally tried every item on the menu. I have so many pictures from this place that google maps won't let me post them all! I've done them a disservice as it has taken me so long to post up a review. But they deliver on freshness, flavor, customer service and overall experience! Everything you would expect for a good time. Drinks are tasty and hit the spot too. You can dine inside in the main area, bar area, or even outside. Parking can be tight but there is literally a parking deck under the building that is free. Most people don't realize it. Give them a try and you'll find yourself walking out smiling and rubbing your belly.

One of our favorite sushi places. All of their roles are very fresh and delicious. Theyre definitely generous with their fish. Dynamite shrimp and crispy rice appetizers are a must.

We visit the location in Florence often, so decided to try one of the originals for my partner's birthday. Food was absolutely delicious and service was top notch. The atmosphere was nice--they had a live artist playing tunes that we knew like Wonderwall! The parking was a bit difficult to manage, but WELL worth it in the end. Will be returning at our next visit to Charlotte!

If not for the price point I'd have given it a 4/5. I like the space - it's got some nice dcor and atmosphere. Preparation of sushi is a bit better than average; garnishing each piece of nigiri is a nice touch. Overall quality of fish though is just so-so. For yellowfin tuna sashimi at this price point I'm looking for a nice clear deep red, and this comes up short. Chicken yakitori wasn't bad - just a bit short of authentic - and it's a nice touch to have a small pile of shichimi and sliced lemon to go with it. There's a sushi restaurant less than a mile away with more variety of nigiri and comparable quality but noticeably less expensive. And there are sushi places elsewhere in Charlotte at the same price point and with better fish.

Reminds me of the OLD Nikkos before they moved into their huge, loud, crowded location. Small Japanese Sushi and Teppanyaki restaurant in Dilworth on East Blvd. Great drinks, reasonably priced. $3 Mimosas Weekends. Sushi, Sashimi, Ramen and Tempura. Coming from Los Angeles it's hard to find a good Sushi restaurant. Every item was excellent. Our waiter was Gede from Bali and was great. Free parking inside the building. Worth it. Quiet vibe. Nice people. We had the Northern Roll / Lobster Claw, and the Sleeping Beauty / Strawberry Tuna Roll (?), Gyoza, Fried Brussel Sprouts. Would go for some more basic rolls the next time, but they were good and reasonably priced for the amount of food they served. The Tempura Veg was crispy and hot asparagus, broccoli, onion, eggplant, sweet potato. It's hard to please my husband sometimes, and we usually go to Musashi in Pineville because we like smaller places with less noise. This place has more selection-- a REALLY big menu actually.
