Lincoln Street Kitchen & Cocktails
I booked a reservation for 3 for a Sunday afternoon brunch. Although there is a pay lot directly across the street, we were all able to find free street parking. Upon arrival, we were able to secure a spot on the patio rooftop. Our server was fantastic and checked on us frequently throughout our stay. The food was good. The food is more small plate format so not large portions. I ordered the shrimp and grits as they were able to make it without the pork. A friend ordered the potatoes which looked yummy! I definitely enjoyed the vibes and will plan to return again to try something different.
I wanted to love this restaurant, but I left feeling under impressed. The portions were tiny, and some of our entrees could have been cooked better. While the wagyu was tasty, Ive had regular steaks that were better. However, the service was awesome - our waitress was incredibly sweet and helpful. Additionally, the cocktails were very well made.
Biscuit was fantastic. Slightly crunchy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. The sausage gravy was some of the best I've had in a long time, it didn't need any salt or pepper. My coffee came in a tiny French press with a timer so that I knew when it was ready. It was adorable and tasty, although it could've been a little warmer. The drinks were complex and delicious. The flavors went together beautifully and were truly delightful. Server was attentive without hovering and the hostess was super helpful. Maybe not the best place for a patio experience but an amazing place for drinks and food.
The food was very good. The maple bacon is life!! Don't remember everything we had for brunch, but it was all yummy. Rooftop view is nice, but too many tables and they have paper napkins that blow away. Tables are too small for more than 2 people. No place for all your plates plus the water carafe along with water glasses and any tasty beverages. Service was horrible and got charged hourly for parking when we should not have been as we were there on a Sunday. Thr negatives overshadowed the yummy food. It was not worth all the challenges.
Delicious appetizers that tasted delicate and light. The server was amazing, Sydney I think was her name. The view from the rooftop was beautiful. They had heaters when it got cold. It was really nice. Would highly recommend. Had the appetizers of cheese, deviled eggs, peppers, and the carrot sides. Half off bottles of wine on Tuesdays. Pretty great deal.
