Very nice setting with a diverse staff. Food was served quickly but it did not feel rushed. The food was really great! I had the white pizza and the soup of the day and my boyfriend had the Vodka Pasta. We both enjoyed our meals and each other. The bread in the bread basket was really fluffy and seasoned nicely and the red pepper infused olive oil was unique and I liked it!
We had a very nice dining experience here. Food was delicious and plentiful. I had the lasagna and my partner who is a vegetarian had the pasta with truffles and we shared the bread pudding for dessert. We were both very happy with our meals and stuffed. Our waitress, Shonda was wonderful. She was professional, courteous, helpful and funny. She made a ordinary night out into a memorable experience. The only disappointment was the lack of real Italian coffee/ espresso. They only offer filtered coffee.
All of the food was very delicious. Weve have been searching for a place that serves excellent spaghetti carbonara and weve found it. It seems very busy so getting a reservation would not be a bad idea.
Our first experience at Mama Ricottas was satisfactory but not worthy of a return visit. The atmosphere was okay, the service was inconsistent and the portions small. When we arrived the outdoor heat was on but was turned off shortly after. When asked for it to be turned on again, it didnt happen until after we finished our meal. It felt like our server would disappear for lengths of time but then have quick reappearances. We had to constantly ask the waiter for a fresh basket of rolls. Our three year old was given a glass for her water but kids at other tables received disposable cups with straws. The family portion of the angel hair pasta was not enough for our three children (3,6,9 yrs old) to share. They polished off the dish and almost two basket of rolls. The carbonara family dish was not enough for two adults. The desserts sounded good but since we had spent a good amount for the dinner, we opted to forgo the dessert.
When I want decent Italian (nothing like Grandma Scaglione's cooking but hey, whaddya gonna do?) Mama Ricotta's is on the list. And their prices aren't terrible either.
