Pretty good spot! It's a little nicer than a run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant, but isn't overly fancy either. Some typical menu items like fajitas and carne asada, and some more interesting options too. I think it has just enough character and atmosphere. There's a medium size indoor seating area, a very small bar, and some outdoor seating as well. With respect to food, I've only been in once and tried one main on the dinner menu but thought it was quite good. Very flavorful. I'd say it's worth a try.

I finally got around to reviewing Mestizos. Im giving them 5 stars because they are very accommodating and do their best to make your dining experience awesome. I didnt have a chance to take pics. My mother in law was with me and she isnt into the taking pics thing. We shared a steak fajitas & enjoyed the mild salsa with the chips. The manager came to say hello. She was so sweet. Ill be back. I want to try more dishes. Update: Stopped by on July 22 for a late dinner after seeing a movie in Birkdale. Connor, our server, was awesome! Lovely outdoor seating! I love how you can be right there in the heart of Downtown DAVIDSON. Lovely setting, great atmosphere.

Out for a foodie day of exploring and come upon this restaurant in Davidson, VA. Nice place for a quick bite and we love quaint little downtown like these on days like these! Sunny cool and bright with bright friendly faces smiling back at you! Happy fall y'all!

Foods is really good. I had the Chamorro a la Poblana and I enjoyed every bite of it. If you like it hot, ask for the spicy sauce... you'll love it.

It's cozy inside. I had the lamb. And it was tender, but it needed some extra sauce, a bit dry. Very few black beans, a lot of rice. My partner had arroz con pollo, very tasty, about half a chicken breast. The tres leches was disappointing, just a cake. Service was good.
