Miguel's Mexican & American Restaurant

Miguel's was highly recommended by the shuttle bus driver of the hotel I'm staying at nearby. A simple-looking establishment serving up high quality food with great prices. I was blown away with mouth watering, fresh and authentic Mexican food dishes! The presentation was 5 star and the taste, also a 5 star experience. I had the Texan Margarita and selected it to be made with Patron... it was delicious. I checked out the recent "favorites" on the last pg of the menu and ordered the Quesabirrias which were so flavorful and amazing!! Antonio our server was very friendly and suggestive as to which food items or drinks were fan favorites. Our food came out quick. We all said it's too bad we don't have a spot like this back home. We were so pleased to have enjoyed such a great dinner while only being in town for one night while on a layover. Would recommend coming here and trying any of the dishes. The Bacon and Cheese potatoes were great, along with the Chicken Soup and Shrimp Cocktail.

Pretty good Mexican restaurant. We arrived 5 minutes before closing time and they did t deny us the food. Extremely economical, quiet, calm and kind people. Food was served quick and was delicious. Whole heartedly thank this restaurant for giving us the food.

Update: Came back for dinner and the outdoor tables quickly filled up. Couldn't even hear any noise from I-85. Their margaritas start at $4! This non-descript little authentic Mexican diner across from the airport off Little Rock Rd. offers your standard fare with no frills and a quick turnaround, as long as, it seems, the one guy taking orders is available. (We were seated and got our chips and salsa right away, but had to wait a little when we didn't order the first time around.) The regular prices are already really affordable--didn't see anything more than $13, but the lunch menu (daily 11-2) ranges from $4.50-$8! At the server's suggestion, I got a chimichanga off the lunch menu. It's normally $6, but apparently it was on the specials board today for just $4.25! What a deal! My companion tried the chorizo and egg ($8) and it came with 3 freshly hot homemade flour tortillas. In front, there's a sizable unheated, covered patio with tables, and when the weather is nicer, I can imagine it would be a nice place to eat outside, if you don't mind the highway noise.

Very local feel to thia place. I didn't think it was open at first, small and most peopleparked on the dirt side of the restaurant. Pleasant feel, god food and service. Nothing spectacular but not disappointing either.
