Nest Restaurant & Lounge
EL “HELLO THERE”
We stumbled upon this new restaurant/ lounge and were drawn in by the menu and live entertainment! Food is good, pricing is reasonable and staff is friendly. We would go back.

Went for a Saturday night date. Waitress was new, unable to help with menu. Items we ordered were unavailable and was told 20 mins after orders put in. Chicken & waffle was cute however cold. His pasta was beautiful, wish we could have eaten together. I watched him then my food came out so he watch me eat after it went back to be rewarmed. Scenery nice, new place, hopefully they get stuff in order soon because they were nice people.

Awesome and appreciative the new menu. I understand its u see new management. I loved the experience. Miss the stuffed salmon, though ;-). Its more of a French menu now. But nevertheless, I enjoyed the food. Had the crab cake appetizer and salmon (not stuffed) with rice and veggies. The veggie pasta was also delicious for my daughter since she is a vegetarian. I would suggest adding another vegetarian item.

Never Again. Overall, the worst dining experience I have ever had. Unprofessional and completely disorganized. Out of half of the food on the super small menu by 9pm on a Saturday night. Service was beyond slow and sloppy. Food send back multiple times and never came out right. Finally just asked for our check. They deserve half a star only based on the fact it is a nice space and there was a live band that was great.

We arrived Saturday night at 7pm for dinner. Party of four adults. We entered and immediately you here the band playing I believe it was Davaju. The band was awesome but played too loud. It was impossible to have a conversation without leaning and yelling at each other. Our server was slow and never asked if we wanted drinks from the bar. After we the appetizers came we asked her could we order drinks. I ordered champagne and it came in a goblet. We ordered the artichoke dip. It arrived cold and very soupy with soft Pita points. Since the dip was very loose and the pita was soft it was impossible to pair them together and eat it. It went untouched and the server never asked us why and it did remain on our bill. Between us we ordered two lump stuffed salmon and two pasta bowls. Along with the Brussel sprouts. They were chopped and left slightly crunchy, we loved that but they had no flavor at all, we squeezed lemon on them and added a small amount of the soupy artichoke dip to make them flavorful . The salmon was delicious but served room Temperature also. Both pasta dishes lacked any flavor. By flavor I dont mean salt. But we expected the dishes to have a taste. We also asked for dinner rolls or bread and were told none was available. Overall not a good first experience. Great location, nice space, good band they need to play at a Lower volume. The wait staff needs training And the chef has to find a way to make the dishes flavorful. Also on our way out we stopped to hear the band..a staff member walked up to us to seat us. Would have been a nice gesture had he not been on his cell Phone at the time! Honesty I dont know if we will be back, there are so many great options Uptown. Give it a try I was skeptical when I read other reviews But I prefer to form my own Opinion. Restaurant responded to our review with an apology and a promise of one free meal. We replied back thanking them for their offer but reminding them that we had four bad meals so at a minimum it should be two free meals if we decide we want to try the restaurant again. One week later we have not heard back from management. No business can survive on bad food bad service and bad management we will not be back.
