Very impressed by the packard tavern! Very chic and cozy atmosphere. Food and service were PHENOMENAL!! Shoutout to our waiter, Vincent because he was the best! He was so kind, funny and efficient. I cant wait to come back here and try some more food!

I had an outstanding dining experience at this restaurant! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. Troy went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, providing attentive, friendly, and professional service throughout the meal. The food was equally impressive. I ordered the French Dip, which was flavorful and cooked perfectly. For dessert, the apple turnover was absolutely deliciouswarm, fresh, and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The drinks were also fantastic and complemented the food wonderfully. Between the amazing food, great drinks, and top-notch service from Troy, this was one of the best restaurant experiences Ive had. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!

Packard Tavern was such a great dining experience from beginning to end. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and every dish that came to the table looked just as good as it tasted. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the presentation and the flavors, and there were so many delicious elements throughout the meal that everything felt special. As an added bonus, they offer parking deck validation, which made the visit even more convenient. The Caesar salad was one of my favorites of the night. It was fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed with just the right balance of flavors. The beef tartare was another standout-fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Both dishes were excellent starters and set the tone for an amazing meal. The lobster pasta was the star of the evening for me. It was rich, packed with flavor, and loaded with tender lobster, making every bite absolutely worth it. The only thing I didnt care for when the shrimp stir fry. To top it all off, the dessert was incredible. After such a delicious meal, it was the perfect sweet ending and definitely not something to skip. Between the outstanding food, beautiful presentation, convenient parking validation, and overall great experience, Packard Tavern exceeded my expectations. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and enjoying those favorites all over again.

Heard about Packard opening & i had to try it out. Lets just say i had no regrets, i really enjoyed the atmosphere & the food as a whole. The chargrilled oysters were delicious. The dip trio was great i just wish the hummus had more flavor it was plain but the onion dip & pimento cheese made up for it! I also got a lobster pasta that was super tasty i just wished the noodles werent cooked as long more al dente but i was so happy on the amount of lobster that was in the pasta very impressive! I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu soon

My husband and I tried Packard Tavern for dinner last night in Uptown CLT and concluded that we will definitely be back! The same owner of Sea level, The waterman, and Ace (all so amazing) just opened this new concept around the history of taverns in America and the idea that you should feel warm, comfortable, and full! I can confirm we felt all of those things! The interior is beautifully done from art from a local CLT artist to the coolest bathrooms youve ever seen. We started with drinks and WOW! We were blown away by the drinks we tried and will absolutely stop in for drinks some time. For apps we got the beef tartare (so cool, theyll let you take a shot out of the bone it is served in.really!!) and the roasted oysters. For mains we did the salmon and the short rib and both were 10/10 from us! The salmon is the perfect lighter dish and the short rib presentation was incredible. The star was the dessert, an upside down apple turnover that I will be dreaming about until we go back. Moral of the story, give it a go! Whether you stop in for a cocktail and an app or come for dinner and dessert, or both, you need to make the reservation!! Uptown CLT just got a new gem!
