Love the food here! Everything they make is delicious! My favorite is their seafood pancakes and octopus dishes. The prices went up but still great deal for the quality of food.

October 2022. What's goooood its ya boi jt. We hit up Pepero, which is directly attached to a small Asian grocery store, for some dinner noms and that shii was fire . We did a family style din and just shared a bunch of dishes. We started off with a hotpot thing, I forgot the name but it was really good - the broth was a good spice and had lots of stuff in it. The seafood pancake was good too - think of an crispyish, fluffy omelette with seafood, definitely would get this one again. Beef Bulgogi was okay in my opinion, but the spicy pork Bulgogi was very good. I think the texture of the pork was better - it was more firm and put together compared to the beef's, which was a little more stringy but it was still good nonetheless. The seafood soonduboo (soft tofu soup) was very good as well. Very much warmed our stomachs. Our server was attentive and quick as well. Will definitely be coming back here!

This is literally a hole in the wall type of place. The food is authentic and sooo mouthwatering. I got the spicy cold noodles, and it was just delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to try other stuff on the menu.

Korean mom-approved! I had my reservations about the place, but the food pleasantly surprised me and my mom on most fronts. Winners: - seafood stew and broiled mackerel - goat stew (for two) - not gamey and the "hot pot" is a classic Korean experience - blood sausage stew - an unctuous, earthy option for the slightly more adventurous eater (but it's not scary!) Bummers: - the banchan side dishes would disappoint Koreans who have a high bar and experience, but are otherwise fine - the seafood pancake was made with only octopus and crab stick. The taste was actually fine, but this classic dish shouldn't skimp on recognizable seafood and more green onion

This place is a hidden gem, it doesnt look like much from the outside but their food and store are out of this world. I had bibimbap with tofu instead of the meat and we also ordered a side of seafood pancakes. All the sauces and extra sides that come with your meal are extremely delicious. After dinner we shopped in the Korean store and bought som Soju and they had all kinds of different flavors, it was hard to pick but I ended up getting the peach flavor. Sooo good! Next time you are in the Matthews area, make that your stop!
