Pump Social is located in the heart of downtown Concord. It originally housed a busy service station that holds many Memories and stories amongst locals. Today, Pump Social offers some of our favorite things: gathering place for all, good food, beer, wine, and a great patio all while maintaining reliable business hours. Featuring chef driven, hand crafted sandwiches, salads and grain bowls accompanied by beverages from both near and far.

After months of driving by this location, I finally had the chance to visit today. Special thanks for the later extended hours on Fridays / Saturdays till 9pm ! The 11am-3pm just never worked for me PS have their main staple items printed on their menus (online as well), but they also have what seems like rotating selected items as 'specials' written on a large poster paper roll hanging on the wall. From salads to soups, different sandwiches, unique burritos and a variety of drinks. A means of spicing up the overall menu without getting dull. Dig it Without pics printed on the menu, I had to rely on both IG & Google reviews for better assistance to the descriptions. Asking the lovely cashier/ waitress the names of few dishes walking past me was just as helpful, too. On this being my first visit, I decided to go with La Famiglia. The sandwich description called my name. Although I found it a bit pricey for just a sandwich and a small side salad; when I finally took a bite of that soft, freshly baked ciabbata, layered with the salami, pepperoni and mortadella inside, I knew where that extra dollar went ! Panera Bread can take a hike ! This is the real deal. From the fresh wholesome ingredients to the presentation. No fastfood, corporate setting here. This was quality all the way. My only disappointment is that it finished too fast I'll pace myself next time lol Kuddos to the cashier waitress gal for checking in on how the meal was and for being nice n informative I always love seeing former establishments get converted into new diners or coffee shops. The overall layout and location of this place is excellent. Ample amount of benches outside , handfull of seatings inside, with decent parking spots on the side. Great area for families, kids & couples. I'll deff revisit again ( on a Sat.!) Big Schlepper - I'm coming after you next

My husband and I were looking for a local place to have lunch near historic downtown Concord while we were waiting for some jewelry repairs to be completed. We found Pump Social and it did not disappoint! Situated in a renovated gas station, this place had a curated menu of fresh sandwiches and salads perfect for a lovely Spring lunch on a Saturday. The staff was attentive and helpful Making great recommendations. We tried some of their most popular items and absolutely loved their seasonal side, which was a tasty green bean salad. The sandwiches and wraps were huge, as was the side salad. We even had enough to take some leftovers home. The bulk of their seating is outside under cover, and it was a very mild Spring day. I mention it only if you happen to visit on a day with less than ideal weather conditions. There is some seating indoors but its limited. I look forward to returning to try more of their menu items.

This is a super cute and unique sandwich shop in Downtown Concord. It is located in a gas station. Nice lunch spot. I ordered the steak sandwich with simple salad as a side. Everyone was nice to me. My only thing is the simple salad was too simple which only contains lettuce and vinaigrette dressing. I recommend the seasonal salad. My sandwich was delicious with the nicely toasted bread and the meat was seasoned well. I also really liked the horseradish sauce on it. The outside seating is really nice too. I definitely recommend this place .

I would give anything to live near here! We were on our war to Charlotte for a baby shower and had time to kill when we came across Pump Social. While we didn't get the try their traditional menu (they were hosting their first annual oyster fest) we were sure glad we got a taste of what this place can do! The bratwurst sandwiches were so impressive, we went back for seconds. While we are not locals, the staff did an amazing job making it feel like we lived just up the road. I have already began planning my return to Pump Social. In all, please give this place a try, and when you do, be sure to send a sandwich my way! Update: We returned to Pump Social, make a special detour, and are sure glad we did. I honestly don't think there are enough amazing things to say about the food here. I had to update because we absolutely love the potatoes salad side!
