The food was really tasty. I personally recommend the birria and tacos. The atmosphere is very fun and the service is quick. You can order food from the counter and drinks at the bar. They have an amazing margarita soft serve flight that you must absolutely try. My girlfriend loved the swirl flavor. I think you can get some really tasty food here

I went on a Wednesday night with a guy I am dating. It was not busy at the time. It has a really cute aesthetic. We ordered the Trio and Corn Ribs as appetizers. They were both very good and we loved the queso. We ordered a few different selections of street tacos as our meal. We LOVED the chicken tinga and Birria tacos. They were so tasty. We sat at the bar and Natalie served us. She was fantastic. She had great energy and conversation. She also made 10/10 drinks. We had the soft serve margarita flight and tequila flight. She also took pictures of me and my date and took some good ones. Shout out to Natalie! You go girl!

Que Fresa Taqueria and Bar, operated by Que Hospitality, has opened its newest location in Uptown at 530 S College St in the Duke Energy Building, across from the Charlotte Convention Center. For free parking, I recommend parking in the Whole Foods garage and walking just half a block to the restaurant. I visited during their soft opening weekend. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gifted my meal, a thoughtful gesture that, while appreciated, does not influence my honest review. When you enter, you join a line to order at the counter, they give you a number sign, and your food is brought to your table. There is also a full bar available for those looking to enjoy a drink with their meal. For my meal, I started with the highly recommended corn ribs. These are roasted, then fried corn ribs coated in Tajin butter and Cotija cheese, served with cilantro ranch on the side. I was hesitant to order them, but they were absolutely delicious and a perfect way to begin the meal. Next, I tried the Camote taco on a flour tortilla. This taco features roasted sweet potato, rajas, cheese, lettuce, Poblano crema, and pickled chiles. It wasnt spicy but was packed with flavor, making it a great non-meat option that I would happily order again. I also ordered the Campechano taco on a flour tortilla. It came loaded with perfectly grilled steak and chorizo, guacamole, Molcajete salsa, onions, and cilantro. While the taco was incredibly flavorful, I would personally skip the onion and cilantro next time, as they arent my preference. To finish, I had the sweet plantains, which were fried to order. They were perfectly sweet with just the right amount of chewiness and crispness, served alongside a side of sour cream. The menu is extensive, offering everything from all-day breakfast and preppy(gringo) tacos to street tacos, burritos, birria dishes, agua frescas, frozen margaritas, and desserts. The Cuatro Leches dessert is definitely on my list.

Everything was AMAZING! Keila was the perfect server and the drinks she makes are even better. The food was fresh and fast. You can't go wrong with anything you order. I will definitely be back!!

Fast, friendly service. I got my tacos very quickly. However, they are extremely greasy and they were lukewarm. I got the carnitas and chicken tinga. They looked and tasted pretty good but when I eat tacos elsewhere I never see this much grease.. I had to use my napkin to blot more off of the tacos themselves, likely will not be back.
