New contender for best ramen in south Charlotte! Very good quality and flavor. The meats were perfectly done. Cool atmosphere and friendly service. Will definitely be back!

Pros - Crispy and flavorful Takoyaki - Black broth with smoky garlic flavor was savory - Juicy melt in your mouth pork belly - Wonderful service Cons - White broth pictured tasted diluted and watery - Portion sizes, especially broth, is minimal at best. Extra order I got to gos broth didnt even cover the contents of the main bowl - Only get a half an egg per order paid - Half Egg provided did not have that desired slightly runny yolk (almost all cooked through) - Noodles were a tad too chewy (almost felt undercooked) - Most options dont come with an egg at all - Prices did not match expectations of delivered bowls Overall I was left indifferent with the place. Would have definitely left more hungry than I was if it wasnt for the appetizer in addition. The place has definite potential! But with the prices averaging $16 a bowl - it just doesnt compete with the quality and portion sizes you can get at other competitors in Charlotte (Futo Buta, Sheng Ramen, JINYA, Saru). From the dine in pic alone you can see how much the dish looks and feels half full. Great servers and close to home still doesnt make it worth trip again for now though. Will definitely be on the lookout for further reviews as they get more awareness! If it trends on more positive reviews later on Ill consider giving it another chance.

This place is amazing. Service is speedy and pleasant. We ordered the Kazoku White and it was some of the best Ramen Ive had. Pork was tender and the bamboo shoots were absolutely delicious! My wife ordered Miso Ramen: spicy as it should be and extremely flavorful. We ordered on-line and the prep and handling was very nice too! Fairly priced! Cant wait to come back and tell all my friends/family!

Great atmosphere, super nice staff and waitress. Everyone constantly checked in on us to make sure everything was right. I had the Karaage Chicken Don, and its amazing. Its crunchy and seasoned super well (I recommend asking for extra spicy mayo too!). Its super hard to find Karaage chicken around charlotte and this place does it great. I cant speak to the ramen yet as I havent tried it. Id also recommend coming here with a little patience, theyre still new and trying to figure everything out but you can see the passion behind what theyre doing. I expect them to figure it all out soon!

I just had dinner there with my family and everyone enjoyed their meal. The food was fresh and flavorful. It was empty when we arrived but within 45 minutes the place was filling up. We had the Black and the White Kazoku as well as the Chashu Don and Karage Don which was great with the spicy mayo. My youngest son, is already planning to come back next week and he's hard to please since he considers himself a chef.
