Amazing!! The atmosphere, staff, and food were all great!! If you're looking for a 60s style place with a twist that serves "American" food this is the place. Prices weren't bad either. We asked the waitress what she recommended and she said the chicken and waffles were really popular, but her personal favorite was the chicken tenders. So we went with chicken tenders, chicken and waffles, and a cheeseburger slider plate. Chicken tenders came with a house sauce that my kid said was really good, chicken and waffles were awesome, and slider and waffle fries were delicious (my kids plates). We also had their ranch and barbecue sauce for dipping and they were great. The 2 appetizers (slider and chicken tenders) were big enough to be a meal itself!! The host that greeted us was extremely friendly too!! They came through a few times to make sure everything was alright!! Our waitress was ON POINT!!!! She made sure food was good, AND when she saw my one kids drink was getting low she brought a refill before my kid even ran out!! The pics are from where we sat. This diner is really decent size, has a jukebox (music was playing throughout), and some really neat decor set up throughout the diner!!

Catching up on reviews. Stopped by on Tuesday, 05-17-22 after a dental appointment. There was hardly anyone there, but I still had to wait to be acknowledged. I just sat at the counter & waited, which is how I was able to get all of the pictures. I ordered livermush and eggs. I asked for rye toast; you can see that's not what I got. The server was pretty nonchalant when she took my order. She went in the back with my order & I never saw her again until she came back out with it. Sure this is affiliated with Midnight Diner, but there is no comparison. Midnight Diner is much better for both food and service.

Perfect late night spot. The food was good and fast! Our waiter John was awesome and had perfect timing. I ordered the chicken and waffle (with pecans). Very filling and tasty. My only nuance was that the chicken wasn't completely defeathered, but it wasn't bad enough to send back. I will surely return to fulfill my late night cravings!

Not really easy to find due to it being in a alley way like but once you find it, it will be worth it. Service was fast and staff was professional. I ordered shrimp & grits with Om egg, my bestfriend did biscuit n gravy with eggs. Very good and recommend the Shrimp N Grits If I ever come back to Charlotte I will eat here again.

We randomly stopped in. We're from out of town. We had a quick bite and few drinks. Devin took such good care of us, everyone was so sweet. We all danced and sang along with the music playing. Food was great, and we took some dessert to go. It was delicious
