River's Edge Bar & Grill
This is a crazy slow place. We were literally in there for an hour and a half getting a sandwich. I let my husband leave to ride bike and waited an additional half an hour for the bill. The sandwich, however, was incredible. I would suggest taking the outside eating area so you have something to look at while you wait. The young girl that waited on us was completely over whelmed but unbelievable sweet, informative, and friendly.

Great selection of southern food to try. They do offer alcohol and other beverages. Very friendly service! Fried pickles with ranch dressing was an amazing side. That's the Southern Jambalaya right there in the photo, with a good serving size and a spicy punch that gets spicier as you're going through the bowl.
Food was decent. My burger was alright but not worth $12 & the cheese wasn't melted on it at all. Our server was very nice but the hostesses were rude. It was a very hot & humid day & some people were choosing to wait for a table inside which is their prerogative. But the hostesses didn't need to mock them in front of other customers. Especially when, what looked like a manager was standing next to them & said nothing. Says a lot about an establishment.
I've been here twice in the last 2 months. Both times the service was mediocre but the hostesses were just awful, extremely rude. The food the first time was clearly under the heat lamp for about 20 minutes, not good at all. And the food the second time was even worse. Do yourself a favor and avoid.
The food is great and the views are amazing, but the food is expensive and the waits are long.
