We visited Saku back in Sept 22 and had an amazing experience so we went back last month before heading to a show at the Belk Theatre. The service is top-notch and the food is delicious! Sushi was fresh and the rolls are in innovative without being pretentious. We had apps and rolls and even a surprise sake! The atmosphere is hip and intimate and perfect for a date night. We sat at the sushi bar this time but want to return when the weather warms to sit on the patio. We plan to go back this weekend before another show so we can enjoy food our kids dont get excited about and maybe try some new items. Dont miss this Uptown Gem!

What a cute and adorable new sushi spot. The tuna poke bowl is amazing, order the pork belly skewers twice (if you like pork) theyre definitely delicious! The oysters mushrooms were sort of bland, the Jade dragon roll and nirvana roll were both amazing. Drinks I had a blushing rose drink that was ok, dont order the lemongrass ginger drink taste like youre just sipping ginger. But all in all, a fun spot Ill definitely go again.

What a great experience! We surprised a friend for her birthday and we chose the best spot ! The restaurant even allowed us to bring in a mariachi band ! I started off with the pork dumplings and they were out of this world ! The sauce that comes with it pairs wonderfully . Im a new sushi eater (no raw fish just yet ) and I order the Nirvana Roll it comes with a torched piece of salmon on top and I found it to be extremely delicious and could hardly taste the torched salmon. I also tried the earth and sea which was my favorite ! And also the jade roll ! Overall great service , great vibes !

I really enjoyed my time at Saku. The staff at the bar was awesome. All three took care of us and checked in a lot of times. I highly recommend sitting there. The drinks were great. The locomotion was so flavorful. The sushi and skewers were great as well. I will definitely be back.

Super cool place! The ambiance is perfect. Kelly the bartender is super friendly, had great suggestions and drinks were on point. The sushi was amazing!!!! We sat at the bar on the second floor and I would do that again. Thanks for a good evening!
