Samoha African Cuisine
This was the worse experience dealing with this restaurant. I have had a number of issues with this place but today took the cake. I placed an order for two servings of suya which totaled about $30. What I got was barely a serving for one. I took food back to them and they still insisted that was two servings. I have been ordering that meal since restaurant opened and I have ordered arriving a of 2 and never ever has it been that small of a quantity. Like I said it barely enough to pass as 1 serving. I even showed the plate to people dining at the restaurant and they agreed that wasnt enough for 2 servings. The diners were so shocked that a random diner lady ended up refunding me my $30. I was so livid that I forgot to even thank the lady. I just wanted to get the hell out of there. I will not be going there nor patronizing them ever again. If you are thinking of dining there or patronizing them, Ill tell you this, there food is good but the service is horrible and the portion of food you get for what you pay for is complete highway robbery. I know cause Im Nigerian by birth and these people are truly robbing you for the peanut portions they are serving. I wish I could I have taken a picture of the so called $30 plate and let you be the judge. But its not there fault, its my faultIve been patronizing them and letting things slide cause they are my peoples but todays issue is where I draw the line. You decide your line to be drawn!!!
Great flavor and great staff. Came with a friend who has never experienced west African food; staff was able to explain and make great recommendations. We bought swallow and soup along with fish & rice. Everything was well prepared and food was great.
I won't ever patron this restaurant ever again. The guy on the phone was rude and hung up on me when I tried giving my information for a smooth pick-up. Then rude to my son when he went to pick up my food. We drove too far for the disrespect and poor customer service. They must be so wealthy they don't need your business. The food was good except for the extra season of hair in the egusi soup. In good faith I cannot recommend this restaurant. I will share my experience and send friends and family elsewhere.
My first experience at this restaurant was ok the lady that waited on us was very nice and allowed us to sample some thing I wish I had sampled a piece of that beef. When I tell you that was a rough cut dry, crunchy, and chewy the soups were fine nothing really to brag about I have had better. Fufu could have been smoother. The gentleman that was in there working with the young lady was rude I would have given this place 1 star but the lady that waited on us deserves these extra stars. God bless you ma'am and it's hot as heck in there and we cleaned our own tables thank God for Clorox wipes.
First time having African food. The food was amazing. I sat and ate my food in 5 minutes. I had the Egusi Soup with beef and the fufu. Amazing and loaded with flavor. I will most definitely be returning. Oh and the two ladies up front were so nice. Great experience
