Located in the new Plaza (near D & E gates). Shake Shack is a recent and welcome addition to CLT airport. Airport food is generally expensive, but after a long flight, this place -- exported from SoCal -- really hit the spot for a great price. Don't be surprised that the gear taste and great customer service leads to long lines.

It's not often I rate somewhere so low but the queue was round the block with one person serving and the rest of the crew not doing much. Then suddenly break over and the crew numbers doubled and it started to move. I had great expectations for the shake but it was a small and nearly warm offering. Nothing like the last one I had in NY. Overall a real disappointment.

35 minutes for a burger, fries & the smallest custard shake I have ever seen. Multiple people in both the front & back just standing around watching a few people work. Food was good but unless you have time to waste don't bother.

Great burger and the service was quick and courteous. The whole crew was marvelous with their great smiles and nice attitude. And the burgers were perfect!!!!

What an absolutely horrible experience. We passed up some pretty great places to stop here on the way to our gate. There were eight employees working this restaurant and the guy in front of me had been waiting 35 minutes for his burger and fries. They were making drinks and sitting them out 20 minutes before people were getting their food and never telling people their drinks were ready including ice cream style drinks. It was an absolute joke and when I asked if a manager was working the employee told me he was too busy working the grill as four other people stood around staring at items and not bagging up any of the food that was sitting up on the racks ready to go in bags to go to customers. It was an absolute train wreck. There was no leadership and obviously everyone was Ill trained as to what their job was. I've never seen a group this large get so little work done. The best part was when we finally did get our food it was cold because it has been sitting up on the rack ready to go in a bag for 15 minutes even though we've been standing there for almost 30.
