My second visit was today. I met a friend for lunch. Food was even better this visit. I had chicken tacos with rice & beans, perfectly seasoned. The food is not heavy or over salted. Portions are perfect. I had a Pomegranate Margarita as did my friend and we thought it was tasty!! The chips came with salsa and a small portion of delicious guacamole. Atmosphere and attentive staff are great! Note: Another visit includes more pics
Had a great first experience here recently for happy hour drinks and dinner. Sat at the bar and tried one of their frozen margaritas, which was great! And on special during HH. Then for dinner I asked the bartender what he recommended for tacos and he said fish and shrimp, so that's what I went with. Both were so great! Very flavorful. Everyone was nice here for service and informative but not pushy. Some people sitting next to me at bar also said they have a great brunch here, so I'll be back to try that!
Many tables were empty with a 45min wait. The service was good and the drinks at the bar were nice. Food was just okay but is quite over priced for the quality/flavor. Hope this place improves some. Would be a great place to go to regularly. Edit: Was 3 stars, Now 4 stars. Much better food and great service. They have figured out how to be a good restaurant upon my second visit. Will return to order the enchiladas and Corona Premier on draft.. Atmosphere is great as well.
This place is incredibly awesome. I am seriously confused by some of these bad reviews. It proves you can never trust reviews on any site. Dont listen to any of them and come and try this place yourself. This restaurant juices everything fresh, makes their own chips, salsa etc. staff is overly customer service oriented. I am in the hospitality in the street and I can appreciate every detail that went into the restaurant. Fun lively atmosphere and a welcome to the area. Food is creative and tasty and good Thank you for the great attention to detail!
Im on the fence about this place. I wanted to love it because the place has a nice atmosphere (its very aesthetically pleasing) and great service. My issue with the food was that the temperature was just warm, not hot. It also lacked flavor, especially the rice and beans. Also it honestly seemed overpriced for tacos. Chips and queso was $7. There are other tacos places that are just as good. Kind of underwhelmed for the money I spent. I know the intention is to be upscale to be on par with the other places in Kingsley Town Center but it is missing the mark.
