Tap & Vine - Ballantyne

What a step up from the Quail Hollow location! But don't get me wrong, we enjoyed that location as well. At Stonecrest, however, the casual yet sophisticated atmosphere made for a very chill, great date night vibe. The service was outstanding, the live entertainment was just right for the time of day (early dinner) and the food was magnificent!

The food was very disappointing. Calamari was over battered and undercooked in some parts. The boom boom shrimp was pretty good, the chicken lettuce wraps were the best of the 3. Nice interior/atmosphere (better than the Quail Hollow setup). Our service was good and attentive.

Recently the two of us visited here for an early dinner on Saturday. The atmosphere and setting were pleasant and in our case suitable for a romantic occasion, even though there was also a party in progress at another table nearby. The seating varies from bar tables to standard tables to partial booths. As it was early for dinner, we were seated right away. Our server was cordial and efficient with our orders, checking on us occasionally and see that we were well cared for. We began with drinks: the berry blossom spritz and a Guinness. Kudo's to our server and the bar staff for going out of their way to explain what the berry blossom spritz would be as a mocktail (ingredients, alcohol content and other details). We settled on the original version of the spritz. For the sharable tapas, we chose stuffed mushrooms, ahi tuna, crab cakes and brussel sprouts. All were outstanding, the brussel sprouts and crab cakes were exceptional (thanks to our server for recommending the latter). We shared a creme brulee for dessert, it proved to be a great way to finish the dinner. Highly recommended, we plan to visit again soon.

Great food. Great staff. Great atmosphere. The place is nicely setup. Very elegant and cozy. The staff are very friendly and well knowledgeable on the different menu selections. We had a wonderful time eating the delicious, well seasoned food. A must visit for a great time and food.

Flat was warm, not hot it taste decent. Fries were horrible, they taste like they had been cooked then sat in cooking oil and reheated in a microwave then served. The Server was very friendly. The drink was good. I feel like the speed it took to get the food was slow for the amount of people who were in attendance at they restaurant. I not sure if I would try this place again
