Great setting in a quaint old house. We had a reservation for the porch, which is covered. It was perfect, with just the right breeze and felt very cozy. The food was delicious. I had the salmon, which was flavorful, although very slightly overcooked. For dessert, I had a coconut dish, light and creamy, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Our server was well-trained, attentive, and professional. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and they served his dessert with a special birthday wish. Would definitely recommend and will go back!
A great place! Expensive but worth it! Service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the portions were very generous! They had a well-conceived menu; something for all tastes, adventurous or otherwise. Nice wine list, too, with good values as well as splurges. Highly recommended!
Rich was the man as the waiter. He was fantastic. Sadly the food was tasteless. Escargot was delicious for app. Good atmosphere great service but food was no where near as good as some of the food I've had at that price. There "voted #1 pastry chef" must have not been on the game last night. I've had better dessert at applebees. Won't be going back here and would not recommend.

One of the best places I have had the pleasure to dine at. Every item on the menu looked wonderful and we weren't disappointed with our selections. Highly recommend dining here for a special occasion!

My husband and I went this past Saturday and had a great overall experience! The service was probably the best that we have had at any high end restaurant in Charlotte. The server was polite, attentive, and had a good personality, but didn't linger too long or try to dazzle us with his conversation skills and knowledge. We started with the chorizo-stuff calamari. I'm really particular about calamari, and I didn't love this part of the dish, but overall, it was a fun take on a simple appetizer. I also had the cauliflower soup - very creamy and tasty (especially with their artisan bread). Here's where our meals diverged. My husband went off the beaten path and ordered the elk. I don't think we are big elk people, because despite the guy next to us saying it was excellent, neither of us were big fans. I had scallops and thought they were phenomenal (but the bed of couscous was bland and needed salt). We shared peanut butter chocolate mousse for dessert and left with our bellies full and happy. Definitely check the menu before you go. If it has items that look good and are on your "must eat" list, you'll probably like it, but it's a little pricey to try something completely random and expect to love it. Either way...highly recommend!
