Absolutely delicious! The fresh sausages, brats, and hot dogs cant be beat. I highly recommend the sweet and spicy pickles as a side. Not only is the food great, but the staff is awesome and super friendly
Even if you're not crazy about German food, I can assure you there is a brat here just for you. I can't understate how fantastic the food here was. Their menu selection is incredible, diverse, and enticing and you'll likely have to take a moment to decide what to get because it all sounds so good and it IS. The service is glowing, your food arrives in less than five minutes and the restaurant itself is comfortable and welcoming. You'd be doing yourself a disservice by not coming here. Please try it and tell your friends so this place can stick around.
First I'd like to tell you about how great Ian's customer service was. Let me paint the picture. After anticipating eating from this business for almost a week now. I planned this outing with my wife slash business partner. After going to work @ our full time jobs, we did some work for our business as well. After leaving the business location out in university. We were unable to get a phone number to call in our order on their website, so we wouldn't hold any of their employee's after hours. We decided to ride over to Central Avenue to finally check into this business. We arrived at 7:35, as we walked into the door. All we heard from Mr. Ian was SORRY WE'RE OUT OF FOOD. No hello, welcome, or how are you doing. But SORRY WE'RE OUT OF FOOD while counting his register, and us watching the last bit of their food that they were cooking behind him. Kinda odd that when the Black couple comes in near closing. That they ran out of food. Maybe the name should be Good Worst Customer Service Company. Thanks again Ian for losing a customer. Best wishes!!!!
I know it's called the Good Wurst Company, but do not sleep on the Reuben! Hands down best I've ever had. They put a lot of effort into their pastrami and it shows. The sour kraut balanced the sandwich perfectly without overwhelming it. I had some of my fiance's fries and those were top-notch, too! At some point I will try some sausage, but I have zero regrets with getting the Reuben!
We were so excited for another great restaurant opening in Plaza Midwood. We picked the Schnitzel Sandwich, the Pastrami and the Bratwurst Sandwich. For sides we had fries, potato salad and baked beans. The potato salad is mayonnaise based, which is also very German. Oil and vinegar based potato salad is just a southern German thing. I would go back for all the food we got.
