The Pump House

Beautiful views and great service. I experienced the Pump House during their Mothers Day Brunch. For the 3 course menu I had the Carolina Greens, lobster omelette and salted caramel chocolate torte. The salad was great but the omelette was terrible. The eggs were dry and overcooked. The lobster had no flavor. Im not a picky eater at all, but I couldnt stomach it. Judging by the dark color, the potatoes should have been crispy on the outside but were likely sitting for a long time and were soggy and bland. The dessert was very sweet (store bought frosting vibes) and lacked overall quality. The fried tomatoes were outstanding! The steak and eggs were pretty good. The service was excellent. Despite the other entree issues, I would return to give it another chance during a regular day. You cant beat the location!

There are not many places that check both boxes nowadays; great food and great service. The experience we had at Pump House was great! The fried okra was the best okra the entire table had ever eaten. A nice but subtle Cajun kick paired with the homemade sauce made this app a must. Bison filet didn't come out right the first time, but the waitress and manager made quick amends to correct the steak. Every staff member we were greeted by was very happy to be there making our experience even better.

What A wonderful experience at The Pump House! My Wife and I celebrated our fifth anniversary there and had a delightful time. The food was exquisite and extremely tasteful! The waiters and waitresses were outgoing and cheerful and very helpful. I would recommend this to anyone and even families with kids. We had the most beautiful view from our table sitting on the balcony over the river. The prices were very reasonable too I would expect to spend $30-$40 per person after you include the tip and taxes.

A bit pricey, but definitely worth it! We went for Sunday brunch and it was simply amazing. The service was superb and the food amazing. They have delicious cinnamon apple muffins to share after being seated. A little on a sweet side, but so good! I got the soup of the day as an appetizer and that was the best decision ever. It was a delicious mushroom soup. I could eat that every day. I had the bacon Benedict for the main meal and it was amazing. Perfectly poached eggs. The potatoes on the side were very flavorful too. Highly recommend eating here at least once. I was stuffed for a few hours.

What a neat place! We reserved a table for brunch online, super easy, same day. Great atmosphere, sits on the catawba river. We sat on the top floor (5), with a rooftop bar, beautiful. Drinks we had were the Fig Mule & a coffee with a shot of bailey's, delicious! We were greeted with daily muffins, apparently different every day, blueberry was today yum! I had the Bacon Benedict, my mate is allergic to eggs so she has the roasted beet salad with grilled shrimp! So delicious for both! Really enjoyed and so happy she had a lot of menu options to choose from aside from eggs. Ended the brunch with a FABULOUS ESPRESSO MARTINI!
