My first time to The Yard- Charlotte, NC (or any location, for that matter). We went for dessert before dinner, because why not? Live a little. Husband and I got two different flavors to share and they were both incredible. Exceeded our expectations in every way. I got the Cookie Dough Delicious Specialty Bowl and my husband got The Cereal Killer Specialty Bowl. Probably the best ice cream Ive ever had, hands down. Im a recovering foodie- Ive a had a LOT of ice cream. The flavors were spot on and it tasted like REAL homemade ice cream. If you dont know what you want, you can sample different flavors. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and in good spirits. The atmosphere was a warm and inviting modern farmhouse vibe- and very CLEAN! I am already planning my next trip to The Yard to try more of their incredible creations. Oh, and you can grab some of their pre-made pints to go if you dont have time to sit down :)

This is a one and done for me. The staff was really nice, the vibe was Homegoods-Chic and the ice cream: meh. Super expensive for low quality ingredients, and I think any number of their over the top creations may take a few days off of your life. * I fully recognize that I may not be their target customer. So, the negative-leaning review is my biased opinion, but I'm sure the masses will love it.
