I am traveling through NC visiting some of my colleagues. I found this place via Google and gave it a try. It is a very nice place. Our waitress, Britney was very helpful at explaining the different meals and my friends questions about the beers that they serve. The meals were out quickly and were very delicious. The place was clean and every staff member seemed to enjoy their job. Their pretzel dinner rolls were over the top. I would highly suggest that you stop in for a great dinner if you are passing through this area.
A fantastic German experience. If you're a fan of German cuisine and tasty wheaty beverages, this is the place to go. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere almost makes you feel like you're dining at an actual Bavarian establishment. The only factor that kept my rating from 5 stars was the price. Although the food was great, the price seemed slightly high for the portions and quality. Overall I had a superb experience and would definitely go again.
You dont need to go all the way to Helen for German food! The good stuff is right here! So I just went here the other day for my birthday and I have to say the food here is FANTASTIC. Ive grown up with Czech parents and I have to say a lot of the food is very nostalgic! The food is done perfectly it tastes delicious and its unlike anything you will find anywhere nearby! This place truly is a gem! The waitress was also nice enough to give me a free Black Forest cake slice which was also delicious! This is my new favorite place in town and next time I have a special occasion I will be begging my wife to come back here
German food is one of my most favorites. This is a fantastic restaurant. The food is delicious. I bring my parents here whenever they are in town - they lived in Germany for years and always go on and on about how authentic this place is. We went last night and had the best time.
German food is unknown but delicious. Very hearty and rich. Their Wiener schnitzel tastes just like in Zurich or Austria. If u havent had any it has a similar consistency as a chicken filet. Their deserts are also very tasty. German chocolate cake is worth every bit of its reputation, and that goes double here. I like to stop here with family after church on Sunday.
