As relatively new people to SC, we decided to try Waldhorn for Thanksgiving buffet. The most disappointing thing re the buffet was the"TURKEY." If you like turkey legs, which I do not, that was the turkey it seemed. I asked at least 3 times as did some others if they would be putting sliced turkey as there was only legs in the gravy. They said they would check, but it never happened so I took a leg. This was early in the day (12:30). They had a nice carving table serving roast beef which my husband had since he doesn't like turkey. He said it was very good. Perhaps a carving station serving sliced turkey would have been nice since the sliced turkey didn't happen otherwise. Probably will go back for the German lunch and or dinner, but not for Thanksgiving. Will do that at home. The other food was very good, desserts ... well, I would rather have turkey and good pumpkin pie. The pumpkin pie was marginal at best.

Love this place! The brunch is PHENOMENAL! Better get there early or you will have to wait in line. Their roast is savory and perfectly cooked! Come hungry and their desserts are a must try.

Great family atmosphere. Authentic German recipes. Super friendly staff. One of the best brunches on Sunday in the area. Highly recommend this place. Be there at 10:30am on Sundays if you don't want to wait.

Top reasons to come here. They have 12 hard to find German beers on draft. Fresh hot pretzel rolls. Relaxing cottage style atmosphere. Come as you are relaxed feeling. Staff is friendly and courteous. Food always hits the spot. Definitely, a must do in town!
