Saw a lot of good reviews of this restaurant and wanted to try it out. It did not disappoint. The service was good and our server Kim was very attentive! Food was so good too. Tried the Icy roll on the daily special menu and the dressing wowed me and my boyfriend! Some dishes were creative which might be a bit different to the traditional Japanese foods but they all tasted great.

I ate here on September 25, 2022. Parking was very difficult to find since I went during a Carolina Panthers home game. Things did not start off well upon entering the restaurant. I asked to use the restroom and was immediately grilled by several people about whether I was eating or just trying to use the restroom. I assured them that I was there to eat and spend money at their establishment, yet it was still very difficult for the manager to hand over the bathroom key. I almost left after being treated the way I was, but decided to stay. The waitress was friendly, but didnt seem to know how to answer most of my questions and was not very knowledgeable about Japanese cuisine. I ordered a couple apps/small plates and some canned Saki that was recommended by the waitress. The Saki was delicious, but the apps were just okay. After looking over them menu trying to figure out what I wanted to order, I went with the pork ramen. It was very delicious, but not spectacular. Overall, I would recommend trying this place at least once for the food quality, but the service was very lacking. Expect to be treated like you are someone who just needs to use their restroom when attending a Panthers game.

I really like this restaurant. The waiters/waitresses have always been super helpful and friendly and they have some really unique sushi rolls and interesting things on the menu. We have liked everything we have tried. Also the cocktail with the plum sake is delicious!

Fantastic! Servers were nice as possible and very knowledgeable about the menu specials they have. You always want a place where the staff themselves love eating the food on the menu. I would recommend the chubby toro roll hands down. I wished I took a picture of it but it didn't even last that long before I realized I ate it all! They have an excellent selection of sake and drinks, a taste for everyone out there. You should definitely come here during their lunch hours from 4-6:30. Perfect discounts and meals listed.

I think this is one of the best Japanese restaurants in town. The sashimi was fresh, shrimp and vegetable tempura was fried perfectly(light and crispy). The Deluxe sushi set had an amazing presentation with fresh cut of each fish. I didnt try the ramen but my friend told me it was rich, flavorful and tasty. The only thing I think they could improve was the Yakitori (Japanese skewers), they were just ok. I will come back sometime again for the chef sashimi set.
