Zafran Kabab Palace

If you're looking for commercial based food then don't go here. However, if you're looking for traditionally authentic food, then this is the place. Everything is loaded with mouthwatering flavor! The staff is very welcoming and passionate about their business. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking authentic pakistani & Indian cuisine.

Delicious food and super friendly staff in this UPSTAIRS, second floor restaurant. I think its location makes it a bit of a hidden gem. There is huge variety on the menu, but the chef gave us his recommendations too. The dining room is spacious and this is definitely a family restaurant. While I was there on a date, two extended families were enjoying meals, but there was still plenty of space for privacy and breathing room between tables. Zafran is my new favorite spot for Indian and Pakistani food.

Loved it perfect BBQ and great service! The taste of great Pakistani food in the South was worth the trip. I drove from Raleigh, NC every bite was worth the drive The owner Nazar Sb. Seems to be a friendly and customer focus great guy. Pros: - Beats any restaurant in 200 miles radius on the quality of Pakistani BBQ for me in the South excluding Florida & Atlanta it is #1 in NC 100% the best - Perfect BBQ, great original Pakistani taste, and very friendly service! - Wide variety and lots of options available - From the entrance, you feel like in any nice Pakistani restaurant from NY/NJ, Chicago, or SF/LAX Cons: - Priced reasonably, and can be discounted on BBQ big orders but the post-COVID recession is not helping restaurants also - Adding 1-2 more servers in busy times should help, but no major concerns as overall service was 5 star! - Naan quality can be raised a bit, but again in NC/SC/WV they beat any Pakistani restaurant

We had dinner here, chicken tikka is very nice and it is served with rice. Naan is soft and tasty. Mutton biryani is not upto mark. Kabab is famous here, so next time I am going to try that. Overall good Pakistani cuisines.

Outstanding food and service! We came here for lunch on a Sunday. We decided to do the zafran mix grill with rice for 2 people. It had a bit of everything. My favorites were the chicken tikka boti and chicken kabab. The rice and naan were perfect. The owner gave us rice pudding to try for free. That was so nice of him! and the rice pudding (kheer) was soo yummy. It reminded me a bit like flan. Would definitely come back and try other dishes! Try it, you will not be disappointed unless you're not adventurous with your taste buds :)
