Wanted to love it but disappointed. Came on a Friday evening. Girl at the bar was very nice and helpful! But that was about all that was great for me. Ordered baked brie and was served a warmed up brie block with 5 skinny slices of apple and 5 slices of bread, on a paper plate (not even nice paper plates). It was not baked brie (pastry crust??) and if I am ordering a $12 app I would hope for a better presentation. Was charged $14 for the app tho the menu stated $12. While the atmosphere of oriental rugs, wood tones, and fancy couches gave one vibe (wine cafe), the music and the dress and appearance of the staff gave a completely different vibe (biker bar). Dont think well be back.

Matthews wine cellar was a recommendation of a family member. We went there on a Saturday afternoon, just as the band was setting up for their show later on. No, we didn't get to listen except for a song and they sounded good! As for the shop. Great people, great location, clean and comfortable setting, great service. The food menu is limited but well balanced and well prepared. The wine bar is very good. Better if you go by the bottle, more choices than by the glass. Ample parking, prices are mid level, depending on which wine you choose. Week with the visit, great conversation place.

Went on a Friday night. It was promising until the place got crowded and there was just one server for the whole place. The owner (I assume) was there too but you can tell he had no idea on how to use the system because everything needed to be done by the only server. I had one glass of wine and wanted to have a sandwich and more wine but after being ignored for over 30 minutes I decided to leave.

Our W2 group met at the Wine Cellar for an event. The GM Darby and bartender Nixon was outstanding. Pleasant, friendly and respectful. We were a group of 26 and they knew our names as well as our orders. The cook Gerard is outstanding. This is a place where everyone knows your name. Great vibe. Very accommodating, relaxing and do much fun. We will be back.
