Davesté Vineyards

Just off I-77 in Troutman is a great place to relax in an idyllic setting. We enjoyed our visit on this beautiful fall afternoon! (see posted photos). Google maps can get you there quickly via I-77 (interstate) OR the "alternate route" which takes you through scenic back county roads. The tasting room is spacious with a cozy indoor seating area next to a fireplace. There's a private event building behind the tasting room (social event happening, so we couldn't go inside). They host weddings and receptions here. LOTS of outdoor seating (see photos)... covered patio on the hill above the lake and waterfall area. Tables and chairs for 4-6 parties are scattered throughout the grassy areas. Patio next to the tasting room had rectangular gas firepit (took the chill off the autumn air). Large selection of wines (red & white) AND "surprise" they also have beers on tap brewed by Daveste' (see photos of taps inside tasting room). Today there was "live" entertainment, so almost all the grassy spaces had folks with blankets, their own lawn chairs....singing and dancing to the music. There was also a hot dog vendor on site. However, the tasting room offers a good selection of cheeses, meats, and crackers for purchase. Bringing your own picnic basket is also welcomed. Staff greet you and interact with you like you are family. A staff member explained the new construction will be their larger wine processing plant, all under one roof. Looking forward to returning!

Great wine + ambiance. Have their own food truck and the band was great!

Lovely atmosphere with a nice tasting room, vines right out front, and a relaxing waterfall just below the large porch out back. Great selection of wines and some other offerings (local chocolates, a food truck, etc.) Tried some wines courtesy of Ms. Iris who was awesome. We'll be back if we end up in the area in the future!

Such a nice winery with a beautiful building and grounds! Very nice experience and great service! Only wish is that there were more sweet wines. Felt they were mostly semi dry. Will still go back though!!

After a long week, there is no place like Daveste to unwind. 15 minutes on the porch in a rocking chair and some good wine and the world is right again!
