The Bohemian: A Wine Bar
Do you enjoy drinking wine or talking about wine? Do you enjoy a variety or meats and cheeses along with flatbreads? Do you have friends that don't drink wine but prefer beer? Well you're in luck because this is the place for you and your friends. They have a wide variety of wines which include more natural wines. For your friends that don't enjoy wine but still want to hang out, you're in luck because they have a nice variety of beers on tap. The front room opens to the elements on a beautiful day. The bar has a great vibe with chairs and tables to hang out and relax at. The music is enjoyable and the decor is relaxing. I've enjoyed visiting and look forward to many more.
Amazing wine bar! Beautiful space and a great selection of wines and quality beers. Relaxed atmosphere with open air patio. Best new place in Charlotte!
Cute, artsy atmosphere. Interesting non-domestic wines. I got the orange wine from Italy, I think. Its a white wine (not made from oranges) that isnt sweet but isnt overly dry. Had a great flavor to it. We also ordered The Godfather Charcuterie Board. Its $30 and comes with their 4 cheeses and their 4 meats. It also comes with olives, honey comb, grapes, crackers, bread, mustard, pickles, etc. I get it may be slightly overpriced because it didnt come with even 2 ounces of 3 of the cheeses. I dont eat meat, but the people I was with do. There was maybe 2-3 thin slices of each meat. I recall a glass of wine ranging from $8-$14. A small bowl of olives was an extra $5. Their flat breads were tasty, but I wouldnt order that again. All in all, its a nice environment on a cool day under the covered patio for one glass of wine and a quick snack. If not a little overpriced. For the record, the entrance is on Pecan and my GPS tried to take me thru some driveway off Central. There was ample parking on a Saturday afternoon near the Pecan entrance.
Awesome addition to the neighborhood. Great decore and even better wine selection. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed the patio space.
Chill spot. Wine selection wasn't too bad. Owner/manager Patrick was super nice.
