As Charlotte grows (44 people move here each day), it's critical that we grow smarter. To help, Sustain Charlotte launched a new monthly event series called Grow Smart CLT! Join us for our March event, where our panelists will tackle the issue of smart growth and green space! TOPIC: Smart Growth + Green Space. Green spaces are a great benefit to our environment. They filter pollutants and dust from the air, they provide shade and lower temperatures in urban areas, and they even reduce erosion of soil into our waterways but more and more of those spaces are disappearing. Our panel will discuss from various viewpoints how green space ties in with "growing smart."
