Acarya (touring from OH) with Whiskey Predicament, Carolina Vibes, and Earth That Was

Original Roots Rock band Acarya will perform Thursday April 12 at Oso Skate Park, along with local bands Whiskey Predicament, Carolina Vibes, and Earth that Was. The event is all ages, and will feature an evening of upbeat original music. $5 cover. Below is a little information on Acarya, and attached are images of the poster and the band. They have been compared to a mix between Rusted Root, Led Zeppelin, and U2. Their music is rhythmic, danceable, and appeals to fans across a number of genres - rock, roots, and international, to name a few. They bring a stylistically diverse sound and look to the stage, including a number of unique instruments (such as a 7-piece custom drum set played standing up), a 7-string bass, and an electro-acoustic oud.
