A stylistically unique country roots band from day one, the members of Saluda Shoals have been singing, performing, and playing in sync as if they’d been together their entire musical careers. Saluda Shoals began in the spring of 2015 as an acoustic project between Henri Gates (Southwood) and Cassie Verhaeghe (Brushfires). The duo began writing music and performing nightly, quickly making a name for themselves. In 2016 they started playing alongside some of Charleston's best musicians, opening for national touring artists including Tracy Lawrence, Dylan Scott, Jordan Davis, Will Hoge, Drivin’ & Cryin’, Chris Lane, Chuck Wicks, and more.
