Enjoy traditional food, entertainment and an open beer and wine bar (with a special drink from Dreamchasers Brewery) while stepping back in time in an 18th-century tavern, Rough Edge; a place to kick back and dust off the rough edges of the road. Share a meal and drinks, play card games, take a carriage ride, and tall tales with ladies and gentlemen from the period, including George Washington, Francis "Swamp Fox" Marion, Ben Franklin (reenactor Mel Kent), and Abigail Adams (reenactor Nora Brooks) as well as modern guests. Bid on silent auction items. Watch scenes from Waxhaw's historic play, Listen & Remember. Ages 21 and older. Period dress is not required nor discouraged!
