This event has started or has already happened.
Join us on Wednesday, October 21 at 6 PM at Birdsong Brewing for the release of Cosmic Ballet, a special collaboration beer brewed in honor of our friend, Dan Wade.
This year's Cosmic Ballet is a French Pilsner with Oak (4.2% ABV)—a crisp, refreshing beer created through the collaboration of Charlotte's brewing community to celebrate Dan's passion for great beer, mentorship, and bringing people together.
❤️ Drink with Purpose
Every pint of Cosmic Ballet helps support the Dan Wade Memorial Scholarship, which will send a future brewer to Appalachian State University's Brewing Short Course in Summer 2028. It's a way to carry Dan's love of brewing forward by investing in the next generation of brewers.
🍺 What to Expect
✨ First pours of Cosmic Ballet
✨ Meet members of Charlotte's craft beer community
✨ Limited Cosmic Ballet cans available for purchase (Birdsong & Wooden Robot locations only)
✨ A chance to raise a glass and celebrate Dan's incredible legacy
Whether you knew Dan personally or simply appreciate the community that makes Charlotte beer so special, we'd love to have you join us for an evening of great beer, great people, and a meaningful cause.
Raise a pint. Honor a friend. Help inspire the next generation of brewers.
🍻 Cheers to Dan.
