The North Carolina Music Hall of Fame is hosting its 8th Annual Rhythm & Run 5K fundraiser. The road race will be held on Saturday May 18, 2019 at 8:00am near downtown Kannapolis. Registration will open at 7:00am. The event will include a ½ mile kids fun run titled the “Half Note Fun Run” for children 12 and under. The Half Note fun run will begin at 8:00am and the 5K Race will begin at 8:30am. Start and finish line location will be announced at a later date due to construction in the downtown area. The Rhythm & Run 5K is an annual fundraiser event for the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame & Museum, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All proceeds from the Rhythm & Run 5K will go to the NC Music Hall of Fame Museum. You may register to run or walk the event online at: RhythmAndRunRace.org. Registration will be $20 until March 22. The price will then increase to $25 until race day. On race day the fee will increase to $30. Half Note registration for children 12 and under is $10. Walkers and beginners are welcome and jogging strollers are permitted. Parking is available in the downtown area. Group discounts are also available to groups of 10 or more registrants.
