Close to the University, near Lake Wylie
We're off I-77, next to Rock Hill Galleria mall, with a good choice of shops and dining within a mile. Winthrop University is 10 minutes away. Manchester Meadows Park, with its trails and soccer fields, is less than two miles from our hotel. Take a stroll along the shore of Lake Wylie, 20 minutes away, or take a dip in our outdoor pool. Hot breakfast and WiFi are free.

Second time staying here and we enjoyed our visit. The room was clean and bed was comfy. We chose it because they accepted pets for a $25 fee and we have stayed at other Hampton Inns before so we knew they would have a good breakfast and they did. I like when they have the egg and cheese omelets. I was very impressed to see the fresh pressed juice at the breakfast bar. They were all really good flavors and they had compostable cups to put it in. I am happy to see the small steps Hilton does to help the environment with their use of paper plates for breakfast, paper cups for coffee, compostable cups for juice, and a recycling container in the lobby.

Ok but very loud. My wife and I were in room 220 and it was incredibly loud. Both hallway and street level sounds were over the top. I'm not a light sleeper so it was incredibly annoying. Beds were VERY firm, pillows soft. Shower hot and water pressure strong. Both my wife and I could take a long shower. Overall the room was VERY clean and the breakfast was amazing.

2nd time we stayed here within 3 weeks (for volleyball). This stay was better though. Stayed on the 5th floor and had good water pressure and hot water. Not so much a few weeks ago on the 3rd floor.
