Excellent friendly staff. Comfortable accommodations. Love the motifs and the whole vibe of the hotel. Love the hydration station area. Only wish my water bottle fit under the spout. Loved the room and the luscious shower. The bed was very comfortable. overall a wonderful stay.

THIS is what every hotel should be. One of the nicest Marriott properties Ive ever stayed in. Not only is the place brand new, but every staff member I encountered was fabulous. The decor is amazing and the renovations were all extremely well done. Management at this property deserve kudos for creating such a warm and welcoming environment. Was only here for one night but couldve hung out for days. Really enjoyed the elite breakfast menu, too. I look forward to staying at The Mecklen again soon.

The location was amazing, but the hotel itself was not what I expected. The rooms were just okay. I went for a girls trip, and our room was extremely stuffy we literally felt like we couldnt breathe. We reported it, and they told us to turn up the air, which actually made it worse. We ended up having to take allergy medicine. It was definitely something in the hotel, because once we left, our runny noses stopped. Breakfast was not good, but there are plenty of nearby restaurants, so food options werent an issue. The hotel itself mainly consists of just rooms and a lobby. On top of that, I booked this stay using my points, and they still tried to charge me full price, which was very frustrating. If you only need a quick overnight stay, it might work for you, but if youre looking to actually enjoy your hotel experience, I wouldnt recommend it.

We stayed here twice within a week span while on a roadtrip and we were blown away by how nice this hotel was. Everything was clean and freshly renovated. This was a perfect halfway point for our trip between FL and OH and we liked it so much on the way up that we decided to stay here again on the way back. There is also so much around, which was super convenient! We would definitely stay here again.
