Worst scooter app experience ever. We were 6 friends each renting a scooter and the app worked differently for all of us. We were all charged RIDICULOUSLY different prices for the same trip (up to 50$ for some of us for a single trip). I was never offered the possibility to purchase single or daily passes, when some of my friends could. I reported the issue to Bird and got a standard reply that was of no help at all. When I raised the fact that my issue wasnt dealt with, Bird just stopped answering all together. I highly recommend Spin or Lime instead, which were efficient and transparent in the pricing.

Worst scooter kept cutting out because it thought it was in a different place. Had to push it a lot of the trip. Dirty sticky never washed handlebars. Cost $20 for 2.3 mile ride. Uber would have been cheaper. These things are a gimmick POS.

My grandson was charged 45 dollars on March 4th but he was back home. On March 3rd, he was charged 50 dollars after he turned in the scooter long before the hour was up. This is a shady business and should be closed down.

Careful riding these scooters. Not only does the company make you prepay, majority of their scooters are not kept up to service. Most have broken parts. MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS double check the motor button and brake buttons, multiple times I've had the motor button stick or the brakes simply not work which has caused an accident in my recent past for which I'm lucky to not be significantly injured. The company is quick to refund your money for a bad ride but they NEVER fix their scooters. Be warned, safety is not a concern for this company. I will never ride a Bird scooter again, I will stick to the safety and functionality of the LIME scooters.
