We used DJ Todd Havens for our wedding reception on April 15, 2023. Todd was so helpful and was a great DJ! Leading up to our wedding, he communicated with me to make sure that we had the timeline correct and that he was aware of everything that was needed on his end. The day of went super smoothly. As far as the reception goes, I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a fun, dance party! He was great at reading the room and knowing exactly what people were wanting to hear. He accommodated requests and was super good at mixing the songs so that people wouldn't get tired of hearing the full song.

Michael Glass from SSS was our wedding DJ, and I cannot say enough about him! Michael was attentive to us ahead of the wedding weekend. He reviewed our inspiration playlist and talked through the reception timeline with us. We even had a quick check-in wedding week to make sure there weren't any last-minute changes. On the wedding day, my husband and I were blown away! I have never had so much fun in my life - the dance party was amazing. Everyone was having so much fun on the dance floor that when he came over to tell me it was time for the bouquet toss, I actually asked him to cancel it because I didn't want to stop the party! Michael reminded everyone to do our guest book and organized the guest exit perfectly - such a professional! Michael even replayed songs for us when we missed them. I really can't recommend Michael enough for your wedding - you will not regret it! As for Split Second Sound itself, we did have a small snag at the beginning of the process after we booked them when selecting our DJ. We actually had a whole zoom call with another DJ in the company only to find out afterward that he wasn't available for our wedding date, so I think they have some room to improve there as it was frustrating at the time. However, everything happens for a reason and Michael was AMAZING!!

I take value in everyday life in customer service and am always willing to pay for the quality of that customer service. We knew what we wanted for our special day and everyone feeling like family, along with just fun was something where every detail mattered but also the vendors that would work together to make this happen mattered also. From the initial email that Vinny responded to to everything leading up to the big day SSS was phenomenal. We had the pleasure of having Jonah as our DJ. Jonah literally was the perfect asset to our UniCow (Unicorns & Cowboys) themed wedding. As a music lover and both my husband and I being people who love to surprise the people we love, Jonah had secrets on both side he had to juggle all while creating awesome mixes that I asked for, for different times during the day. He did great as I never knew my husband was going to surprise me with a live singing from the artist that sings our first dance song. Everyone raved about Jonah and the dance floor was never empty. His assistant was super amazing as well. We left wanting to have a party just to hire Jonah again for it. Customer service throughout was great even when things came up and didn't work out as planned. Communication was always awesome! One of the things I appreciate about Jonah is that he genuinely is just an awesome human being in addition to being an amazing DJ. SSS has become our family truly. Sometimes people look for the cheapest deal, but to see the smiles and hear all the comments about everything from our guests reminds me to encourage people to pay for the quality. Every dollar spent with SSS was well worth it and I would do it all over again. I actually plan to for a birthday party.

Split Second Sound and DJ Kristi were absolutely amazing to work with and I'm so happy she was the DJ for our wedding! We had a few issues with wedding planning during COVID but DJ Kristi and Split Second Sound were easy to work with, helpful, and accommodating. One of my priorities for the wedding day was to have fun dancing with friends and DJ Kristi made sure the dancing never stopped! From the hilariously fun intro of me and my husband to our last private dance DJ Kristi and her team made sure my husband and I had the best time. It's been 5 months since our wedding and our friends are still sharing how much they enjoyed the reception. I highly recommend asking to book DJ Kristi for your wedding!

We cannot express enough our appreciation for Split Second Sound and their DJ, Matt Piver, and percussionist, Steven, for their incredible performance and work at our wedding reception. Their attention to details....listening to our requests and concerns...and then performing flawlessly. We had guests tell us that not only did they love the wedding music, but many said it was the first wedding they attended where they felt they did not need to request songs. Very professional. Respectful. Timing was perfect on sequences. We cannot recommend Split Second Sound more highly....but to take your event to the next level....to make your event "epic"....ask for Matt and Steven. Bravo!
