EVENT SUBMISSION FORM
GUIDELINES
In an effort to maintain quality control while creating an easy-to-use digital experience for users, we've created guidelines that will be used when considering event listings on charlottesgotalot.com.
Events should have the following qualities:
- Supports tourism in our region and draws in visitors
- Appeals to a large audience
- Encourages visitor spending and tax generation within Mecklenburg County
- Open to the public
Events NOT likely to be considered: exceedingly localized events such as educational classes and workshops, charity 5Ks, local fundraisers, local business mixers, cocktail receptions and happy hours, summer camp programs, church, civic and community meetings/functions, graduations and homecomings, family or class reunions and events that primarily draw specific groups such as scouts and school groups.
Please note: Once your event submission has been received, you'll receive a confirmation that your form was successfully submitted. Due to the volume of submissions, our team is unable to provide additional updates or follow-up communication regarding individual event listings.
If the event is cancelled or the details change after you have submitted an event, please email eventsubmissions@crva.com.
