The Joy is owned by the local community theatre group. It is an old movie theater rennovated to be used as a stage theatre. Quality performances grace the stage 4 times a year. The group has kept as much of the old fixtures and orginal materials as possible...very nostalgic and charming! The building and attached garden are also available for rental for private occasions, weddings, concerts, lectures, performances, etc.

The Joy is such a fun theater! We've been in the Nutcracker there for several years and enjoy it very much!

Nice little theater, seats are comfortable. Might need a jacket or sweater if you are cold natured.
