We took a few dance lessons with Paul before our wedding & can't recommend him enough! Paul was so great to work with, made our lessons fun & simple, and in the end our wedding first dance was absolutely beautiful and perfect!

Wedding Review: I had my Wedding at Midtown Ballroom on 10/22/22 and overall it was a good experience but there were a few major issues with the venue. 1. The day of "coordinator" was not friendly nor helpful. They did not make the bride and bridesmaids feel welcome as they were getting ready. They did not know the protocol for placing beer kegs under the bar but the day before we were told that the provided tubs could be used to house the beer kegs as long as there was a rubber mat underneath. This was not communicated in a professional manner to the father of the bride. 2. The mirrors, provided tables, and glass doors were all dirty when we arrived and we had to ask our family and friends to help clean them. The Groom's mother had to clean the tables as they were dirty and had grease built up on them. Additionally, the floors were dusty and required sweeping by a friend of the bride. 3. The kitchen had no counter space nor was there space in the fridge even though we were told we would have full access to the facilities when we toured the venue initially. This resulted in last minute rearranging that was likely preventable. We feel all of these issues resulted in extra stress for the family and friends of the bride and groom and could have been avoided with proactive planning. The day of "coordinator" felt more like a liaison that we had to ask permission for everything and that wasn't what we were expecting. They didn't know how to work the light strips and we ended up asking a friend that figured it out. Overall, I recommend this venue for a wedding if you are okay with doing extra work like cleaning and organizing. Do not expect to have great support from the Midtown Ballroom venue staff. If the venue staff reads this we recommend that day of staff introduce themselves and what they can do for us in a positive manner. We also recommend that the venue be completely clean and ready for use as soon as it is made available to the bride and groom. For the money we paid we were shocked this was not already completed.

Really nice venue, I will be back to have other events. However, I had the last Culture Stop of my daughter's sweet 16 here and it was Everything! They loved it and the Instructor was awesome!

We booked a private lesson as our Valentines Day celebration and loved every minute. Our instructor Darinka, was so fun and was easy to learn from. We already booked our next class and cannot wait. Highly recommend for any couples wanting to try something new!

I cannot express adequately how amazing the team for venue rental is! The venue is beautiful, classy and located in a prime area. The team at Midtown Ballroom also treated me with respect and cared about all of my concerns. When I was in a very tough situation, they immediately jumped in to help. Thank you, Simi! You are amazing!
