The Mint Museum is the leader in the Charlotte metro area as far as fine arts. The museum and art gallery has a broad variety of pieces from contemporary artists and designers. The selections of sculptures and paintings are from many different artistic styles which makes the overall collection interesting to experience. The staff is very helpful and respectful and the facilities are clean and well maintained. I've been here a couple of times and would likely return at a future date. Also note the museum doesn't take terribly long view (I was able to finish the entire museum with 2 family members in about an hour and a half) since the art collections are currently on 2 floors only.

Great exhibitions, well organized an curated. Silent Streets exhibition pictures the pandemic distancing in such a way that you can feel the different ways of uncertainty that caused in each corner of the world. A very complete selection of contemporary artist. The craft and design gallery was one of my favorites. If you want to appreciate in deep all the galleries I suggest to go early or use the 2 days pass given with the ticket. I strongly recommend it!!

A really gorgeous museum with a lot of unique art. Not as as big I'd like - especially when compared to larger metro museums, but you can spend a good few hours in here easily. And everyone is so nice!

Great museum! They had a really neat display called "Walls", which honestly sounded boring walking in but it was my favorite room in the entire museum. Fun for the family and reasonably priced.

Very interesting even for a non artistic person like me. Enjoyed a 3 hour visit. Well presented and well worth the effort to go.
