Small, modern theater with great actors. Saw Misery and could not have loved it more. Hearing empty glass beer bottles falling over in the audience during the show can be distracting.

Cozy small theater. I sat in the L row, one of the last ones and I could still see the faces of the actors. The sound was clear. I enjoyed it very much.

Such a fun night out! This play was absolutely hilarious from start to finish. The cast had incredible energy. There were so many moments where I found myself laughing out loud without holding back. It was the perfect way to unwind and just enjoy being present in the experience.

This place is so amazing and is always a fun date night event! Last year I bought the season package of plays/ performances for my husband and we loved this experience so much; that I bought the theater season package again this year! All the plays were phenomenal; however The Color Purple performance was exceptionally great! I highly recommend this little theater to anyone. The price is good. The venue is small, very comfortable and the plays are diverse & extraordinary. Highly recommended!

The renovations to the theatre are incredible. Just a wonderful space. The production value of every show weve seen since the renovation have been Broadway caliber. We attend a lot of theatre productions throughout the area and beyond. Theatre Charlotte is the most professional of the community theatres weve been to. Casts have also been outstanding.

I saw Color Purple here the other day and it was fantastic! I read the book a long time ago and had not really ever watched the movie or any reboots for it. This play really made me recall much of what was in the book. It was very high production and Keston (the lead) was absolutely wonderful; such great acting--Charlotte is lucky to get to experience her now because she is definitely going on to bigger and better things!

Great Plays!! I love all the plays that i gave attended. The pricing and reasonable. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Parking can be challenging, however you can park along the street or take an uber.
