Discovery Place Nature
My daughter loves nature so she picked this place to visit. Very educational. Loved the the bee exhibit. Locals very knowledgeable and friendly. Local honey we tried was wonderful. Small place but interesting to see. Volunteers were wonderful and inviting. They shared great knowledge about the place.
Awesome place to take the kids. Little on the small side but you can get a few hours out of it easily. There's exhibits inside and a more.. 'natural' play area outside, my boy loved it. If I recall there is a trail you can access from the parking lot that leads to a park / lake. Would 100% go back.
We had a good time here. The highlight was the planetarium, which was very informative and entertaining. I took one star because many of the exhibits were empty and we were hoping for more of an interactive experience. But, I would go again. Expect to spend between 1 and 2 hours here. Good for children younger than 10.
Nice museum and good place for the kids! Great for little ones. Could do without the micro aggressions / bad attitude at the front desk. There was no one in line, I have a membership and made reservations didnt realize I was also supposed to show virtual tickets. She couldnt resist the Captain Obvious statement of youll get in a lot quicker here and at other locations if you have your tickets out. So sorry it took a whole extra minute of her time.
We enjoyed seeing the animals and the exhibits. The staff are helpful and care about the museum. I feel that for what it is and where it is, there is more potential to upgrade the facilities and create a better experience for the current guests. A refresh
