I really enjoyed District 51. The atmosphere was so nice. The games were challenging yet so much fun to play. The staff and food were great! Cant wait to come back and get the highest score on the GRID!
Way better than an escape room!! They have 30 rooms with different challenges and beer, wine and champagne on tap! If youre looking for something to be somewhat mentally engaging and different compared to the usual bar drinking this is the move.
This is exactly as advertised: an immersive, themed, one-of-a-kind entertainment center. From the lobby full of arcade and bar games that would make anyone's eyes light up, the kitchen with its interesting assortment of on-brand foodstuffs, to the Grid itself. This place won't let you down. I couldn't even stop to take any pictures, I was just staring in awe. Spend an hour, spend two, spend the whole day!
Super reasonably priced and probably the most fun way to spend a couple hours that theres ever been. 100% must do in Charlotte, simply awesome.
It's a cool place and has a lot of crazy challenges that test you mentally and physically. However, I would not recommend at all unless you have at minimum 3 people. It says 2-4 but with the way the challenges are structured for more people you won't have as much of a fun time with just two people. There's no way of knowing which rooms require more than 2 so you will be left frustrated once you realize you need an extra pair of hands for some of the challenges. Plus with less people it is made even more challenging by having only 30 seconds to 5 minutes per room. This place also does NOT sanatize rooms between contestants and only has a few number of spots where you can get hand sanitizer. If you're worried about covid in the slightest I would not recommend at all.
OH MY GOODNESS. My family and I love doing fun things together, so we are always looking for the next thing. THIS DELIVERED. So fun! So unique! Great people! Its like an escape game, ninja warrior course, and Dave and Busters combined into this exciting, one-of-a-kind experience. Highly recommend. 10/10. Go for 90 minutes. Its not too much time, its just right.
Awesome place! Soon as you walk in the door the innovative post-apocalyptic decor immerses you into the world of District 57. Great care has been taken to provide an enjoyable experience. We love to hang out in the old school gaming and food/libation area, but a must play is the Grid. It combines technology with 30 physically and logically challenging rooms. With the tech they have you can track your progress during the game play on your phone. We are heading back next week!
To have this place located in Charlotte is a luxury. There is not a single detail missed in its spectacular decor and presentation. As soon as you walk through the door you are warped into another reality that is based on the theming. D57 combines technology and practicality to deliver a great experience. The rations (food) are good. The games in the lobby are fun and competitive. The GRID is a highly interactive and challenging experience to bring to your team. At the end of your session you are wanting to go back and do it again, its that fun.
Oh my goodness! This place...I am completely speechless! Talk about a good time if you enjoy escape rooms, puzzles, carnival games and more. The owners who formally owned Exit Strategy now has a funky deconstructed version of an escape room. I promise this is much better than any escape room you've attended. Do not be alarmed of the location and size. It's packed with a punch and the owners and staff are awesome. Great alcoholic beverages. Air fried food and plenty of games to complete while you wait on the grid. Please support this business and I promise you won't regret it.
Perfect date night for couples! The Grid is a room full of fun and challenges so be prepared! The owners are fun loving with positive vibes and they exceeded our expectations. The games give you that old/new school vibes. Technology came a long way! The food and drinks were outstanding. Most definitely coming back! P.S. The dart game can get real competitive! Lol
