The museum staff is knowledgeable and very courteous. After a few moments inside, you feel as though you have stepped back in time. The Jim Biggers exhibit in December was inspirational. It was a must see event. The gift shop sells quite a few unique items.

Bigger than it looks. 1st floor is textile exhibits and women in journalism, 2nd floor was photography exhibit, 3rd floor was rooms in the old hotel, carriage house was separate. Enjoyed!

I was there for a speakeasy themed fundraiser. The court yard is beautiful. Large but private. Love the historic elements from when it was a hotel. The fundraiser was very well thought out and was a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

The current theme is a very well put together display of a significant time is the history of Gaston County & NC. that is not tales about too often. The museum housed in an historical hotel and it has some examples of how it looked back then; it is pretty neat to see how elegant it was.
