The Tradition Golf Club
Good value, easy to get a tee time, fairways generally in good shape. A few of the greens need some work, but overall a good deal. No houses on the course, which is nice.
Played here a couple times now. Worst greens I've ever experienced. I hoped they had fixed it, but they haven't. It's truly embarrassing that they consider this course playable. By no means should you pay money for this course. I wish I would have taken pictures of the greens to post. Literally dirt patches all over the place. There wasn't a single green that could have been considered remotely smooth. The rest of everything is ok at best. Decent layout. Fairways obviously get too long before they cut since there are grass clumps everywhere...like seriously everywhere. All in all, if I could give a lower rating than 1 star, I honestly would. Nothing against the people there, they just do not take care of this course at all.
The greens were terrible and the fairways were torn up and patchy. Tee boxes were also terrible. Real shame.
I'm a high handicap golfer and find The Tradition enjoyable every time. Enough challenges for everybody in your 4 some. Greens are improving, staff is friendly, fees are reasonable.
Nice people, but the greens need a lot of work. They know it and have reduced greens fees. My guess it will take a while to get grass back on the greens
