It took me almost 2 hours to order food wall at the bowling alley portion of our evening. I even walked up to the waitress and she told me to go back to my lane and that she would be with me momentarily once she handled other lanes. However she never came so I went and approached another person like I said almost 2 hours later and she took my order. Thankfully since it was so late my order was ready in less than 10 minutes. So I am thankful for that. The food was good. I enjoyed the atmosphere. As a church group I'm not sure they were prepared for us even though it was on our calendar for a month. We had laser tag on the agenda but due to the charging stations we all had to play at different times. But I'm glad they accommodated and we all still got to play at some point. They didn't rush us to leave and we shut it down. We were so engrossed in our conversation that we did not leave the parking lot until 1:25 a.m. and again there was someone that was on staff that stayed in the parking lot even though everyone else had left. It was a Friday night so we did not have church the next day I had a ball with my church family.

Spare Time is a fun combination of bowling and Dave N Busters. Little pricey but not ridiculous for the once in a while youd go. They have parties and good food, as well as a decent bar with games on. Overall recommend, kids will love it.

It's was an interesting place, lots of fun stuff to do. Same day appointments are not accepted, though. I went there on a Saturday to bowl, and the wait time was 2 HOURS. there were a lot of things to do in the Acrade. And the bar was great. There is plenty of fun stuff to do.

We booked my daughters 7th birthday party at Spare Time in Pineville, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet basic expectations for safety, organization, or customer service. We were scheduled from 4:30p-6:30p. No wristbands were provided to the children, which is a standard safety measure at most venues. This made it difficult to keep track of kids in a busy, public space, and it was especially concerning given that my five-year-old son has autism. Ive never met a parent who said, Lets just hope for the best and see who makes it home. Basic safety measures shouldnt be optional. It also would insure the staff could help round up those playing in the arcade to ensure no one missed the main attraction (The laser tag). The party schedule was poorly managed, with the laser tag session scheduled to start at the exact time the party ended. Scheduling an activity for the moment guests are supposed to leave is like handing out party favors before anyone shows up--it defeats the purpose. There was no effort to confirm or adjust the schedule to accommodate young children who need earlier activity times. Its common sense: young children need earlier activities because they have shorter attention spans and also tire out easier. Age should always be a consideration in scheduling. Staff behavior was also a major issue. One employee, Lexi, was rude to my mother when she asked simple questions about the setup prior to the party. During the party, Lexi dismissed my concerns and told me to calm down instead of resolving the issue. Her customer service skills were so lacking of experience that shed be better suited for a job where interacting with people isnt required--maybe a lighthouse keeper. In another baffling moment, the hostess asked my husband for a cupcake meant for the children. Ive never been to a party where the staff casually asks for guest treats. Especially those meant for small children. I was appalled when hearing this. The laser tag session was rushed, with staff failing to properly secure the equipment on the kids, making the experience chaotic and frustrating for those trying to enjoy the game. These are small children, and those jackets can hurt when they slide down and slam onto their little bodies if not tightened correctly. The lack of attention to this detail made what should have been a highlight of the party an uncomfortable hassle for some. Honestly, if I wanted a chaotic game with ill-fitting gear and injuries, Id hand the kids some pots and pans, point to the backyard, and say, "Godspeed, little adventurers!" The overall experience was stressful and disappointing. Safety protocols, proper scheduling, and customer service standards were all lacking. If Spare Time wants to cater to kids parties, they need to step up their game--literally and figuratively. I cannot recommend this venue for childrens parties based on our experience. In fact, the issues were so serious I've put a complaint in with BBB to investigate these problems.

Expensive games, but the kids had so much fun bowling and playing laser tag. This was a mother/son event sponsored by the elementary school. Tons of fun!
